O'Connor Christmas - Sunny Saturday

Yes. It's parade day. But it started with an amazing b-fast. And even Noah ate something that had "caserole" in its name. Wow! and I've got pictures to prove it!

This breakfast extravaganza was like french toast and craizins and syrup and eggs (and yes Noah knew that) all wrapped up and covered with butter and syrup. YES! it was nummers!

A view of the beach from about 9 this morning. it looks like a beautiful day today. We will be celebrating Christmas at Auntie Pat's after the parade!

Here's a great picture from the gulf side beach, through the street next to the cottage to the other side of the island. It is not an illusion: it is really narrow at this spot. The peach colored house in the center is our cottage. :) Cool huh?

This is on the gulf beach (Coquina beach actually) there are several of them. The sign warns that they are not for recreation but that they are beach errosion prevention construction thing-a-majigs. or something like that. they are concrete and the birds love to sit on them. That's about all I can really tell ya.

This is a better picture of the cottage we are staying in, complete with Auntie Maureen's addition of the Ohio State kite (some fans here I guess). Anyways, the parade takes a while to run the length of the island, so you're getting these bonus pictures. Freebes. :) Yeah, I'm blogging as I wait. And thanks to Allison I'm trying not to elipse. (that's a '...' she says I use too many of them. Must be the student in her.)

Every body waiting for the parade to start, er, rather, get to where we are.
I'll do a separate blog for the parade... we can hear the sirens now!
